The manager took my information and asked if we would be out by 11 am. new sheets and towels, because my husband had accidently scratched himself left a blood spot on the sheet. Having left for the day, I called at approximately 9:30 am and asked for housekeeping, i.e. When I went to the office at 8:30 am on the second day to ask for housekeeping, it was closed saying they would reopen 9 am instead with the original time of 7 am crossed out. Although the check in went smoothly, I do not appreciate having to check in at another hotel first. We were directed to check in up the street at another hotel. Upon arrival around 8 pm on the first night, there was a note on the lobby door saying "due to unavoidable circumstances" they were gone for the day and that they would reopen up at 7 am the following morning. When no one showed up by 6 pm and fearing the office would be closing soon, I found a housekeeper and asked for new sheets and towels. I spoke to the manager and she said she would send another text to a housekeeper asking for our room to be made up and said someone would be there shortly. Upon returning at 4:30 pm the room had still not been serviced. I replied that we were already gone and would not be back until the evening.
